Maryland is at the forefront of our nation’s rapidly growing cyber market, and opportunities abound for professionals in our region—both those who are new to the field, and long-time members of the industry. Join the Universities at Shady Grove (USG), 9630 Gudelsky Drive, Rockville, for two dynamic days that highlight why Maryland is where cyber works.
On Friday, Nov. 9, USG and Cyber Association of Maryland, Inc (CAMI) will present a career and education fair, connecting cybersecurity job seekers with opportunities across the state of Maryland. Those looking to expand their cybersecurity competency can also connect onsite with Maryland education and training resources. The career fair is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
On Saturday, Nov. 10, cyber warriors of varying skill levels are invited to compete in our cyber challenge. MITRE, USG and CAMI will host the cyber-challenge, with opportunities for many skill levels to participate. MITRE's Symphony tool will be core to the cyber challenge/competition. The cyber challenge is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Cyber companies, high school or undergraduate students and anyone interested in a cyber career are encouraged to attend either or both days of this event. For more information, or to RSVP, visit http://bit.ly/MD-Cyber-Works.
